Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson (born in 1961) was a famous American actress. Elson started her acting career as a young child and as a model. The actress is most famous for her role as Alice Tyler in the CBS Science-fiction show. Andrea got the part of Lynn Tanner, in ALF (1986) after she auditioned. The actress continued to appear for many years on various hit TV shows and Movies of the Week before going into the entertainment field to focus on raising her children. Andrea Elson was playing Lynn Tanner her teenager daughter Kate and Willie in a period when she had been going through a difficult time. In a 2000 retrospective in People Elson said developing as an actress of her age in front of the sitcom-viewing audience was a challenge. The green-eyed New York City native grew in her travels due to the advertising job her father was employed in. Before her 10th birthday, she lived in New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea got her agent while living in San Diego, where she got the part she auditioned for in the first that she tried out for. Fusco justified the claim in saying "ALF has a lifespan of 285 years which means he's old enough to drink beer." When ALF started to become becoming more famous, NBC said that Fusco would not be able to continue having ALF drinking alcohol in front of the kids. This was a negative character for a role model. Fusco was of the opinion that ALF could be a drinker even when he was an adult. In 1995, Fusco was diagnosed with lymphoma. It was treated successfully and his condition remained stable through the year 2019. The cancer was fatal on 26 June 2019 when he was 75 years old at the Lillian Booth Actors Home, Englewood NJ.
